It's been a month since I've last posted on here and so much has happened in such a short or long time, depending on which way you look at it. I'm finally after 18 years of living with my mom moving out (by the way I'm only nineteen so don't think that an aweful long time to burden my mother). So I'm really excited about that!

You know so much has happened and I can't seem to remember all that I was going to say. Silly me. I guess I could fangirl about how much I love Nurse Jackie!

Yeah I've basically become addicted to that show. I first started to watch it for the gorgeous Peter Facinelli who is ABSOLUTELY hilarious in it, but then everyone started rubbing off on me. So now I can't live with out it!

Of course the death of Micheal Jackson was the saddest event of the past month and a week. I bawled like a baby then and today during his memorial service. The water works didn't come until his daughter was up there. He will surely be missed, as will Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcet, and Billy Mays.


Now I've really become lost in thought and shall make this blog come to an end.

Tonight I can not sleep. I went to bed, put on a movie that I can fall asleep to, and just lied there. Sleep was not coming to me, so I decided to go in the living room and watch some television to make me a bit more sleepy. I surfed the channels again and again. I didn’t come across anything particular. Late Night with Jimmy Fallon was on one station. Dane Cook on another. But then I found a movie that I haven’t seen in a long time on. I started watching it. It was Save the Last Dance. It was at least a third of the way in because it was at the part where Julia Stiles character was having a breakdown at the theatre where the hot guy took her to see the ballet. Then it came to the scene where they share their first kiss on her front stoop, and that was when I broke.



Everything that has been building up inside of me for the past couple of months came bursting out of me in the form of a hysterical sob. This could be because right now my hormones are a mess and I cry at almost anything, but then I got to thinking, this is not because of me being a woman. This is because I am a pheonix who is dying.



My family says because of a few mistakes that I have made that I am young and we make these mistakes. “You may think the world is coming to an end, but it’s not,” they repeat over and over again. I think there is some truth in that. I think that the world comes to an end several times in everyone’s life. Once when you discover that your childhood has come to an end. Another when you have your heart broken for the first time. Then another when you make the first huge mistake in your life. And another when you experience your first loss. Then when your world truly comes to an end in the form of death.



So with my hysterical sob in reaction to the kiss of Julia Stiles and the hot guy, his name escapes me at the moment so he will be reffered to as the hot guy, I begin to think that right now my world is ending.



While thinking “Man I have really screwed up my life how am I ever going to fix this,” another thought popped into my head. More of a passage from a reasonably well-known book that happens to be the one I quote the most. No it’s not Twilight as some of you might think, it’s John Green’s Looking For Alaska. I thought of the paper that the main character Pudge (a.k.a. Miles) wrote for his religion class on the subject of Alaska’s death. It’s my favorite passage out of any book, and believe me I have read many books of many different genres written at very different times, but this one stands out the most. Maybe it’s because I secretly monolouge it when no one is at home or maybe because John Green’s words through the eyes of Pudge have truth and make me feel like there is hope for all of us.



If you have read the novel you may not get that out of that last part of the book but I do. It gives me hope to trudge on through the day, and in essence makes me ask myself when I get in these silly depressing stupors: What would Pudge do?



I’m sorry dear internet void if this blog seems confusing, but I am a girl who is rising from the ashes once more and is conveing her thoughts through a modern way. And like Pudge trying to seek my “Great Perhaps”

Okay so here's the first installment of my story that I promised you guys. Please leave comments and tell me if you like it and what not. I'm half way through the next part to post and your response to this one will really help me out on how or if I want to continue this.

It doesn't have a title yet, but for now it's going to be called Andie's Story.

My best friend died the day I turned seventeen. I didn’t find out until the next day. We had a fight earlier in the day about him not coming to my party that night because his parents needed him for something. It was clearly a lie because his parent’s knew about my party and have always had my birthday cleared of anything to do. My parents did the same for Shane. I called him out on the phone and he told me that he never wanted to see me again for reasons unmentioned. I then told him to go fuck himself and hung up on him. That was the last thing I ever heard from him.

The next day my mother walked into my room with a tear streaked face. Her voice wavered as she told me the news. Shane was killed in a drive-by on the way to my house. He was sitting at a stoplight and some idiot pulled up next to him and shot him through their window. Shane was in his convertible with the top down so he was an easy target. I said nothing when my mother relayed the story to me. Not a tear, not a tremble, nothing. I asked her how did she know he was on his way here. She told me that his parents told him to come over because they knew he’d regret not being here. We never missed each other’s birthdays.

I thought it odd that he’d listen to his parents after the conversation that took place that day between us. My mother then came over to where I was sitting and took me into her arms and cried. I sat there still in shock of what happened. I was more shocked by the fact that my best friend had died and I felt nothing.

“Mom, could you give me some time to myself?”

“Of course, sweetie.” She then dried her eyes and left my room. I closed and locked the door behind her. I needed the time to think over that last week Shane and I had together. What went so terribly wrong that he refused to see me? Who implanted the thought in his head that I was such a terrible person? I went to my computer and found the loudest and angriest song I could find and blared it so loud that my speakers could hardly stand it. Ironically it was the song Shane and I did when we went through our angry metal garage band phase. We went through a lot of phases together. I remember the first time we met. It was in the first grade and I rescued him from being hung on a hook in the coat closet.

“Whatcha doin’ up there?” I asked.

“Billy Mavis and his friends put me here.”

“Oh. Well do you need help?”

“Kind of.”

I helped him down and we were inseparable from that moment. Apparently we had the Billy Mavis and friends bully factor in common. They picked on Shane because he was an open target for almost anything, and they picked on me because I wasn’t the prettiest girl in the first grade. Plus I had a weird name. I laugh now at the odd official meeting of my best friend, but it is kind of fitting. We were both misfits until the end. Well the end for one of us.

With our song blaring in the background and the now even fonder memory of our first meeting, I escaped to my online world that I normally drowned myself in when I wasn’t feeling up to anything. I logged into my normal sites and my IM. I looked at the list of people to see who was online. Everyone but one name had an online symbol next to their name. My stomach turned a bit.

Within the first few seconds that I became available online a flood of IM boxes popped up on my screen. Apparently everyone knew by now what happened to Shane. My stomach turned some more. This wasn’t going to be easy. Why do the best friends of the deceased have to be their spokesperson for their afterlife on earth? The replies that were sent to the morbidly curious students of Westchester High School were that of half-hearted thank yous and I’m okays. Half of the people who got a hold of my online identity didn’t really care about Shane. They only wanted the details of how he died so they can act like they knew him when they go to his memorial service to get out of school. Now I will have to give Shane’s parents the warning of the fakes at their son’s service. They’d probably make me official funeral bouncer.

After the online hoard was taken care of I finally had time to check my e-mail. I had one message in my inbox. It was from him. He sent it an hour before he died. Maybe it was an apology or an explanation of his attitude towards me. Either or I didn’t want to open it. I mean it’s kind of weird receiving something right after that said someone died. Right?

A box from someone I did not know popped up on my screen with a link in it. I clicked on the link and it took me to a video that said Shane posted it, but Shane wasn’t in the video. A person with their eyes hidden in the dark and their mouth and upper torso exposed by a desk lamp was in Shane’s room. I knew it was his because of the poster in the left hand corner. It was a silly glow-in-the-dark poster of a lizard he had won in a contest in middle school. I clicked play.

“Hello Andromeda,” the strange person said. Their voice was doctored to where I couldn’t identify the person. “I know you are now wondering who I am, and I’m not going to tell you that for the sake of information that I have obtained about your friends death. I’m not going to tell you all I know, but I can tell you this right now that his death was not an accident. That’s all I can say for right now. Good-bye.”

So I have to unfortunately end BEDA early. My computer went to the shop and I have resorted to using my grandparents computer today to check up on some stuff. I think my computer is coming back towards the end of the week so I may be able to resume BEDA then, but until I know for sure BEDA is over for moi. Oh and I’d love to use my grandparents computer to finish the remainder of the project, but I’d have to sacrifice days in front of the same computer helping my Grandpap with his computer and figuring out stuff he doesn’t know. It can be tedious and becomes very exgausting quickly. So I don’t want to use their computer all of the time.

On here I have decided to write a story. I don’t know how long it will be but it will be original and probably come in installments that will appear either everyday, every other day, once a week, or whenever I feel like writing it. You will be informed later on how that’s going to be handled. I’ve been wanting to do something original for quite some time. I’ll post links to each installment on my Twitter or just check your friends page on here.

Well I guess that’s all I have to say today on things that need to be updated. I haven’t had and worthy news to update on Fangirl so there won’t be anything up there until something catches my eye.

Happy BEDA everyone!!! I can’t believe I can actually do something Nerdfighterish without interference. If you’ve known me for awhile you’ll get that last statement. Anywho..Hello! For those who are incountering me or this blog for the first time lemme welcome you with a hug for I am a huggy person. I write about random things and have another blog that’s devoted to the multiple fandoms I am apart of which you can view @ http://dayinthelifeofafangirl.wordpress.com So there’s my very short intro of myself to you guys and on to the other stuff that makes this a post!

So as all of you know it’s April Fool’s Day and if you read my last post I said that I had a prank to pull on you all but when I woke up this morning I decided not too because then I became all nostalgic and thought about the jokes played on me and they weren’t nice. Plus I can never pull one off. Not even a nice haha funny one. I’m also bad at telling jokes because I crack up in the middle of them. Unless they’re knock-knock jokes then I’m good at those, but other than that no I can’t tell jokes unless you think I’m a joke. Oh well moving right along..*starts to sing Movin’ Right Along from the Muppet Movie* (Yeah I break out into song sometimes..bad habit I know).

Why do we even have April Fool’s Day? It’s really stupid like Valentine’s Day. Why do we have stupid pointless holidays? I think in the case of Valentine’s Day it’s pointless because I personally believe that if you are with someone you really care about you don’t need one day to tell them how much you care for them and what not. Everyday should be Valentine’s day in relationships not one day out of the year. As for April Fool’s Day, WTF? Truely it’s like either national opposite day or make some one feel like shit day. Now I wonder about the kids that are born on this day and their mother’s in the delivery room. Especially if they had the one doctor who was really into the day and the mother births the baby and he says something like, “It’s a boy!” when you were planning for a girl, or something cruel like something is wrong with your baby and then they go “April Fools!” That would be just awful. By the way I can get pretty pessimistic about things sorry…I am normally a happy person, but the road leads to pessimism and then comes back to happy.

Well to get in the habit before the offical start of it all I’m blogging today and tommorow. Plus this allows me to put more on this blog than I have been putting on here.

So I’ve planned out everything social event wise for this year today. In two weeks I should be in Chicago visting dear friends and going to see How To Be! Very excited about that. Then in the summer I’m going on a road trip with friends to see other friends and new places and to attend the 7/8/09 You Tube gathering in NYC!! That’s gonna be so much fun!! Which reminds me I have to do an emergency vlog to BrettTheIntern! It’s is birthday on the fifth and I promised him a cake and since I don’t have his address I’m going to make a birthday video for him that includes a cake! Then after that loverly road trip I’m off to TwiCon!!! I’m gonna have sooooooo much fun this year I can feel it! ^^

I have also decided to start doing my fan fiction again. I need to finish one of them and I’m thinking of taking down my Snape one because I really can’t get back into that plot. I love it and it’s my baby cause it was my first, but I can’t get past the first chapter. It’s sad and lazy on my part, but I just don’t know what to do with it. Plus I don’t think many people liked it that much…oh well. The fan fictions and other random writings are going to be posted on here. Hello my formerly abandoned LJ!

I have missed you oh so much! What with my vlogging (http://youtube.com/thenextbigthing12) and Twittering (http://twitter.com/misamille) and blogging on another site (http://dayinthelifeofafangirl.blogspot.com) I've become soo busy. Oh and add school to that list too, but anyways I digress. The main reason was because I forgot my password and it took me this ling to remember it. (Yes I did the password retrieval thing but the link kept expiring so I gave up on it.

I think I'm going to blog on here and on my other blog, but this one being the more personal one and it's gonna have more random stuff on it too (ex. surveys, polls, things-to-do, fanfiction, etc.). Also I'm gonna start fanficing again because my story needs to be finished and what with my computer breaking on me and then waiting this long to get a loaner until it's fixed I think I owe to the people that read it the ending, even thought it's almost half way through.

So as you all may know, or not know, I have now started vlogging and have a few videos up already. With help from one of my wonderful subscribers, leobotgrl90, I'm going to vlog about what I basically blog about plus some other things. I'm basically doing this because I don't know what I should vlog about so I've decided on that until I get some awesome editing software to make some more interesting videos than what I already have up. If you have any suggestions on anything else that I should do in my videos leave comments on this post or message me on Youtube and let me know.

So it has come to my attention today that Facebook changed their ToS (Terms of Service) and it's kinda creeping me out. The thing is is that whatever you post on there whether it be text or a picture they will have the rights to do whatever they want to do with it even if you delete your account they will still have the rights to it and what not. So it's making me debate on whether or not should I delete my account right now or just not post as much stuff on there? I'm really torn between a solution because I really don't like that. It's kinda creepy.

Which leads me to this, over in New Zealand they have proposed this bill that if passed there will be no internet what so ever. I think that is wrong and is cutting into the people of that country's personal rights. There is a link in the side bar that will lead you to the site where you can sign the petition to help end this proposition. Also if on my other networking sites you see a black space in place of my picture it this is part of the protest and I urge you to join it too.

Okay enough political activism for today and on to fangirling which makes everyone happy who likes to fangirl/boy as an escapism.

A week from Friday is the premere of the Jonas Brothers movie and I'm getting rrrrrrreeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaalllllllllyyyyyyy excited about it!! This month the guys have been doing the talk show circut and so far all of their appearences pail in comparison to the last circut the guys did for their album release late last year. These apperances have been funnier and more informational than the last ones. Still...very very excited about the whole ordeal. Chelsey, our friend Stacey, and I are going all out for the event next Friday, so be prepared for that post.

Another tid bit that I'm uber excited for almost as much for the JoBros is that Robert and Kristen Stewart are going to present at the Oscars the last Sunday of the month!!! It makes me soooo happy to hear that. My fave award show of the year and the sexiest man who is tied with Johnny Depp in my book. YaY!!! There will be a HUGE post on the Oscars and hopefully a LOT of Tweet updates that night so be prepared.

Also in Twilight news, Rob and Kristen are on the cover of EW this week for the promotion of Catherine's book that is coming out that is all about the behind the scenes on making the movie. It looks like it's gonna be awesome! Also! The Twilight Saga is now a Ning!! I forgot the direct link but if you go to thetwilightsaga.com you should be able to find your way to the Ning! It's very exciting! I'm on there btw...if you haven't guessed already...lol...just search my name to find me.

So I think that's all I have to say on that front. I really haven't checked out any HP stuff lately so there's no news on that.

Fans flew in from other states to see Rob Pattinson in Dallas. The crowd appeared to be more tame than San Francisco, but they were just as excited to meet him. Rob still makes an effort to make eye contact and say hello to each fan. He must be exhausted by now.

I have officially decided to start a novel based band and guess which novel....give you a hint: look at my page on Vampires and Slayers!....so yeah I have some songs written right now and I just need to find someone that plays an instrument better than me. I can only do so much on my keyboard! So yeah...the name of it is going to be Kellmett's Rose (I thought that was cute) and the songs are mainly about everyone in the canon...emphasis on Emmett and Rose, but I have some Bella POV ones and an Edward POV one. I will let you know when I post myself singing them on YouTube a capella b/c i don't have an instrument right now....my keyboard is missing it's cord for some reason...i don't know where it went! So yeah...I'll give an update on that maybe later this weekend..I dunno...it depends on whether or not my sister's comp is going to cooperate with me. So yeah...tell me what you think about this..oh and a side note I got the idea of an Emmett/Rose related band BEFORE the lovely Kellan mentioned it on an MTV Blog...just for the record...

Okay so I have subscribed to various YouTube channels and some of them kept mentioning this sensational group of people that called themselves Nerdfighters. I kept hearing this over and over again in like these amazing peoples vlogs that I finally caved into my curiosity and checked out the Nerdfighters internet haven (http://nerdfighters.ning.com/) and found out that these people are like so freaking amazing and very passionate about book fandoms and what not. So i joined in on the fun, and now I would like to say that I am officially a Nerdfighter and am hooked on this sensation! Thought I would share this! Because it's AWESOME!!!
